I’ll place more people’s websites up here — when I find out about them.

ArDes

Your host’s website, here touting his old corporate work. An expat web & graphic designer in Canada, I founded ArDes in 1999. Our clients ranged from academic institutions to corporate clients both large & small and our work ranges from creating websites to business cards & logos to VR panoramas. Our site has many examples of our work.

University of Texas at Austin

UT Austin runs the Field School at the PfB, and their “Mesoamerican Archæological Research Laboratory” website provides a wealth of details, about the subject, their programme & the field school.

Santa Monica College

Here’s the homepage for the Anthropology Department of my personal pater patronas for this second round of panoramics, Dr Brandon Lewis. Brandon has led the excavations at Dos Barbaras for over a decade. He’s got the energy of three men: I personally saw him clear land of scrub for about four hours straight in excruciatingly hot weather, and he was having a hell of a time. The Maya workers call him seis huevos.

Montclair State University

Montclair State is where Dr Stan Walling teaches & from which he brings students annually. I have been consistently impressed by how thorough and careful Stan is: and he needs to be. His site is remote and as he drily noted to me, “there are cats”. Stan has also told some of the best stories I have ever heard.

Dr Jenny Saul

Ray’s wife, Frank & Julie Saul’s daughter, Jenny is a professor in the University of Waterloo’s Department of Philosophy. She likes taking pictures of bugs.
